INFORMATION FOR YOUR HUNT

All hunts are 1⁄2 day (approx. 6 – 8 hours) which allows for scouting and preparing the next day’s hunt; hunts may occur morning, mid-day or afternoon depending on winds, tides and bird patterns. These hunts are mostly farm (field) hunts from blinds. 

TRAVELING FROM UNITED-STATES

  •  You need a Quebec or Ontario Non-Resident Hunting License; depending on Province to be hunted; for spring season you need a last year’s Canadian Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp
  •  International hunters transporting firearms into Canada will need to fill out a firearm declaration and pay a $25 CAD fee at Customs; having the form filled out prior to crossing the border will save you time at Customs; forms can be obtained on the internet at:www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/form-formulaire/pdfs/5589-eng.pdf
  • Make sure to bring your state / province small game hunting license or hunter certification; one of the two is required to get a Quebec or Ontario small game hunting license

RECOMMENDED GEAR – WHAT TO BRING

  • Waterproof  Waterfowl Hunting Clothing (weather appropriate; can range from winter to warm spring)
  • Shot gun & steel shot (12 ga. or 10 ga. 3” or 31⁄2” w/ shot size 2,1 or BB)
  • Very Larger coolers for game (to bring birds home)
  • Rubber knee boots for the field and Chest Waders for the water
  • Gore-Tex jacket & pants
  • Camera for the memories
