La Cache Outfitters is located in one of the first major migratory staging areas south of the Northern Boreal Forest in Quebec, Canada. This is where the majority of all of the Atlantic flyway’s waterfowl nest and raise their young. These areas include : Victoriaville, Lac-Saint-Jean, Cap Tourmente, and the Lower St-Laurence.
SCOUTING
The quality of the hunts that we provide are directly related to the intensive scouting efforts that our team executes on a daily basis. Our hunts occur in harvested grain fields where good numbers of ducks or geese have been feeding in the previous days.

Best time for spring snow goose hunting
The spring season typically runs from early April through late May. Prime migration in the Quebec City and Cap Tourmente regions generally occurs from early to mid-May, when bird concentrations are at their highest.
However, strong hunting opportunities can also occur in mid to late April depending on weather conditions, snow melt, and migration progression.
